Xbox 360

Yeah it doesn’t directly apply to SA as we didn’t get the latest round of price cuts but the English retailers are all currently rubbing their hands with glee.

After the latest Xbox 360 price cut they are all unanimously agreeing that it is now priced perfectly and they are expecting a huge surge in sales in the lead up to the silly season.

They also raised the important point that we are going through a worldwide economic crisis. One of the first casualties of an economic crisis will be the entertainment budget and when you are looking at buying a console you can be sure that the price tag is going to be playing a huge part in that decision.

Not to mention that this crisis is going to slow down the uptake of new technology, due to the excessive costs of new technology, which will count against the PS3 and it’s Blu-Ray drive.
