Rick and Morty S4 gets a release date in crazy new trailer

“It’s been far too long,” declares the narrator for a new trailer for the upcoming fourth season of Rick and Morty, and I could not agree more. Although nowhere near as long as the ridiculously torturous wait as the gap between the Adult Swim animated show’s second and third season, but damn it I’ve been itching for more adventures with everybody’s favourite drunk mad scientist and his neurotic grandson. We know from past reports that there’s a mountain of new episodes on the way, and thanks to a brand new trailer season 4 trailer, we now know when the first five will be dropping.

Yes, you read that correctly. Five episodes. As the trailer explains, this is only half the season which will be dropping on 10 November. It’s assumed that after the obligatory holiday season break then, the remaining five episodes of season four will then drop in early 2020. If this crazy (and kinda NSFW thanks to some salty language) trailer is any indication though, those first five episodes will be more than enough to get our Rick & Morty jollies! Check it out below!

Damn! Mr Poopybutthole is a badass!

Besides for the return of fan-favourite characters, the upcoming season will be featuring a number of guest voice actors, including the likes of Taika Waititi, Sam Neill, Kathleen Turner, and Paul Giamatti. I can’t wait to see how Rick screws them all over/gets them all killed, because all know that’s what is going to happen, right?!

  1. Is this one of those shows that gets better the more you watch it? I’m genuinely trying to get into it as I don’t want to miss out on conversations with friends as I did since I never saw GoT.

That said, I watched one episode and just could not get into this for one reason or another? It seemed to lack any genuine interest in that first episode.

Yeah, it is. The whole first season isnt great, but the whole thing really picks up, especially from S2. I watched it just for the sake of zeitgesit too, and ended up enjoying it more than I thought I would.

For me, I only really started enjoying it from s1e4.
From there, it really started becoming awesome.

When it first came out I didn’t even finish watching the first episode because I found the voices annoying. Then last year I decided to give it a shot again & watched the whole lot in about a month & loved every minute.

I’ll be sure to give it another go then. My mates are hyped over the trailer and I just don’t get it.

Then again, they didn’t get why I loved MLP as much as I do.

You know what, “Jacques”? You need to get your shit together. Get it all together. And put it in a backpack. All your shit. So it’s together.

And if you gotta take it somewhere, take it somewhere, you know, take it to the shit store and sell it… Or put it in a shit museum, I don’t care what you do, you just gotta get it together.

This chain of comments made me giggle more than I’d like to admit.

Then you just laughed at one of the monologues from season 2!

It is clever humour wrapped up in an enigma of stupid South Parkest toilet humour.

I love both, otherwise you need to get used to it I guess to really appreciate it but once you are hooked you are going to binge it.

Season 1 is the weakest season so far.

Honestly, I gave up somewhere during the first season a few times. Then one day I watched it buzzed and bored, and it clicked for me. I’m not saying that’s the way to go, but it was for me.

The amount of Justice in the trailer is awesome!
