Numerous people online are reporting that the latest issue of the official PlayStation Magazine, OPM, has a rather extensive Ninja Gaiden 3 reveal – and some details might be surprising. According to NeoGAF user Rated-Rsuperstar the game won’t be toning down the difficulty for casual gamers, so it must be accessible through some other means. The game will feature competitive and co-operative multiplayer, including a mode that’ll allow for 8 players to play at the same time. Good news for those who love over-the-top, gratuitous blood is that the game will have buckets of the stuff. Ninja Gaiden Sigma 2 on the PS3 replaced the sticky red life liquid with puffs of lame purple “life essence.â€
Apparently the store is gone, and weapons will now upgrade themselves over time. I’m not too sure that’s a great idea – but I’m willing to give it a shot. As we reported before, there will be a greater emphasis on the narrative. A surprising inclusion is that NG3 might include Move support, so you could be hacking your foes to bloody bits by actually hacking them to bits.
