No matter which LittleBigPlanet you play, you can be sure that there are some truly astounding community made levels to explore. Other games often get remade in the platformer thanks to its flexible level creator, but they are usually just a once-off affair or simply a nod to the franchise in question. This is not the case with Final Fantasy VII . One user has remade the entire game.

It just shows how dedicated and die-hard some fans are. If you’ve ever played Final Fantasy VII (or any in the series for that matter) you’ll know that remaking it in any form would take a lot of work. This hasn’t stopped TheJamster1992 from recreating all the important aspects of VII from beginning to end (via Game Informer).

Final Fantasy VII Remade for LittleBigPlanet 3 within LittleBigPlanet 2’s Game Creator. The game is split over 31 levels covering the entire game, side quests and world map. The remake features summons, materia, limit breaks, all bosses, environments, music and enemies.”

He has uploaded a whopping 113 videos showing off his work! I looked up some of my favourite moments from the game to get an idea of what the levels are like. It doesn’t work quite the way you think it would, but it’s all there – the story, the battles, the enemies, the summons, the music… you get the picture.

This whole project has taken him over two years. Even then, I still can’t believe the scope of it all! That is a lot of time and imagination to make this remake a reality!

What’s even more mind boggling is that this isn’t the only project he has been working on. Granted, it has been his focus, but he has also made levels paying homage to Star Wars, Grand Theft Auto, BioShock, The Elder Scrolls, and more!

The best part is that if you plan on picking up LBP3 (which Geoff liked), you can experience all of these levels right there as they are all compatible. You can find the entire selection of levels right here.
