Take an infographic tour of the Xbox One controller

Let me fiddle with your sticks...

You’re going to have two choices in life soon. Either you’re getting an Xbox One, or a Playstation 4 console for some next-gen gaming. While I see Playstation 4 easily dominating because of several reasons, I still want to grab myself an Xbox One console next year. Because if I’m going to be fondling any controller for the next couple of years, I want it to be Microsoft-branded. Like my left buttock.

I’ve spoken before about how much I love that damn controller, but if you don’t believe me, let senior product designer at Microsoft Quintin Morris give you some more controller porn up above. Or look at this handy dandy infographic below. Oh yeah guys, I got both the front and the rear covered. CLICK TO EMBIGGEN!

We can debate the games part to death, but as a PS owner I will admit that the Xbox controller is way better and almost R200 cheaper. Sony please give us a frigging decent controller this time

I know you can order directly from Amazon to SA, but anybody knows of local retailers that are importing day one Xbox One consoles. Not sure how to handle the import taxes, airport releases etc.

Still might not be an option as there has to be an activation which might not be available in SA at launch?

Nope, activation won’t be a problem as per MS. Consoles and games not region locked. Only possible problem is that you’ll need a payment option and address in one of the launch countries to get digital downloads at first(but this can also be overcome by using prepaid cards! 🙂

Really want to get my hands on one these, the X360 controller is still by far the best on the market (currently) but I am happy to see Sony have adopted concave thumbsticks and triggers as that is the PS3’s biggest downfall, namely fingers (okay, bokwurst) flying off off the controller at inopportune times.
