Futureboy has written quite a comprehensive article about how Sony has already lost this battle and how it is all their fault. 

Pity poor Ken Kuturagi. The creative genius behind Sony’s videogame consoles — the PlayStations 1, 2 and 3 — announced Thursday that he would step down as CEO of the company’s games division, which means his career there will end on a sour note, the sound of defeat.

The main parts of the PS3 that are picked on are Price (suprise), Blu-Ray, SIXAXIS and the cell…

Although I think it is very premature to say that Sony has lost this war he does bring up some very valid points regarding where Sony went wrong and where Nintendo really did get it right. He generally ignores the Xbox 360 in his write up though….
