I’ve made it pretty clear in the past that I thought PlayStation Home was stupid. It had absolutely no purpose and was nothing more than an interactive advertising billboard.
But now Sony have redesigned the way things work and while the main objective is still there I can’t help but be a little more interested in it.
It could be because it now includes a full FPS title in the world of Home itself running on the PS Home engine but also because it just now looks cleaner and more accessible and the idea of sending the wife into Home to go unlock new features in Dead Rising or Killzone is pretty appealing.
Whether it’s actually going to work and be fun is still to be decided but this video has me intrigued at least. Now if the guy could just drop the annoyingly over excited tone in his voice.
