Valve and Gamestop partner with a new console

Valve and Gamestop have been working closer together for some time starting with Gamestop stocking Valve codes back in May but that partnership is possibly about to boom into something a whole lot bigger.

That is unless this is an elaborate forgery but the following image found on reddit this morning points to Valve releasing their own console that will plug into your TV and allow you to download any steam games (Mac or PC) and then play them on your TV. Not only that but you will also be able to stream any games that you currently have on your in house PC or Mac.

If this does in fact turn out to be true it could be the most disruptive thing to hit the gaming industry since the PS2 and Xbox Live.

Now us console bound gamers will finally be able to play those awesome PC games everyone raves about from the comfort of our living room.

So you tell me, is this a hoax or the start of something magical?
