What starts with War, ends with Death in the new Darksiders 2 trailer

2010 saw the debut of one my very favourite new games, Darksiders. It was if the Legend of Zelda had gone out with the God of War franchise, got unbelievably drunk, and then woke up the following morning with a crippling hangover and a bad case of morning sickness.

In short, the bastard child of all the great action adventure and dungeon crawling games was born, mixing cinematic action with the unique art style of comic book legend Joe Madureira, and the fans were happy.

Of course, a sequel was inevitable, and now that we have a new protagonist leading the charge against the mysterious and corrupt forces that have been plotting against the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, things look better than ever.

In 2012, Death lives.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
