No need to pretend like you’re working hard. We’re in December, and we all know productivity grinds down to a halt at some stage in this final month of the year! Tired of looking at your screen, pretending to do some important numbers or type up an important email? Or are you ACTUALLY working and want a quick break? You’ve come to the right place, this is Work Avoidance Wednesday after all! This week’s title will make your brain hurt… at least a little.
It’s called Entire Screen of One Game (thanks NeoGAF), and the only way I can describe it is as the love child of Thomas Was Alone (that super awesome indie game) and Inception (that damn movie that’s all about “going deeper”).
Basically, you take the role of a block. You use the directional keys to move around, and spacebar to jump. The camera constantly zooms out, giving you a better look at your surroundings.
You soon realise that there is something bigger at play here. When the camera zooms out far enough, you realise that you were playing the game within a larger block the whole time, who is playing a game in a larger block, who is playing a game in a… AAAH MY BRAIN!
It’s impossible to win apparently, but that didn’t stop me from trying my very best to escape that blocky nightmare! Now it’s your turn…
