Rupert Sanders Wolverine Game Advert is WOW

By Nick De Bruyne

If you can’t recall who Rupert Sanders is, he is the bloke that made those awesome Halo “Believe” adverts a while back. This TV commercial for Wolverine just shows you that flashing game footage and back-of-the-box text, is not always the best way to go. Watch in awe as you get put into the eyes of Wolverine escaping from some …

Seriously Odd Korean Xbox 360 Advert

By Nick De Bruyne
April 3, 2009

Sony usually wear the crown when it comes to strange adverts for consoles, but this incredibly odd advertisement for the Xbox 360 from Korea proves that Microsoft is just as capable at creating some strange adverts of their own. At least it has subtitles, so you can actually understand what the woman in the advert is saying, but if by …

Sony launches yet another bizarre ad campaign

By Gavin Mannion

Sony’s ability to create terrible advertising is well recorded and it looks like they are on track to add another notch of awefulness to their advertising belt. Apparently the above video is part of a long running (hopefully not) PSP ad campaign and while the main advert is nothing special it’s ending is pretty sad to say the least. Now …

New Playstation TV Advert – Very Creepy

By Gavin Mannion

I admit that I have mocked many a Playstation ad in my day as they truly do have the oddest advertising on the planet. However I find myself strangely freaked out about this new one and wondering whether or not it’s a good idea to say anything bad about it… what if the doll comes after me? Seriously does this …

Japanese Bioshock Trailer Gives me the Creeps

By Nick De Bruyne

What is it about Japanese peoples advertising that just seems to either creep out or utterly confuse the rest of this lovely blue and green planet? This advert posted on gamevideos.com is a Japanese advert for Bioshock and features a real life “little sister” holding (and then dropping) a fish bowl with what looks to be a small model of …

New PSP Advert proves that Sony has woken up

By Nick De Bruyne

Sony have become quite famous for their strange and sometimes just plain twisted advertisements. This latest advert for the PSP is actually quite magical and does a wonderful job of showing how much entertainment can be packed into the handheld device. While it's all very pretty and the music is catchy, that tune does bare a scary (as in 95% the same) resemblance to the tune "He's got the whole world in his hands". Whether or not any religious factions would care to make a fuss about it is a different story altogether. Look on the bright side though, the advert is nice and it doesn't involve naked people with thumbs in strange places!

Run DMC becomes one of those people who live in a white house

By Nick De Bruyne

To promote Wii Music in America, Nintendo have released this clip of Run DMC messing around with the game. Once again, I find it really strange that all of these overly happy Wii gamers all live in houses that have white interiors as well as an odd habit of being overly excited about life. It all goes to pot when the kids arrive and everyone is swept up in the amazing experience that is Wii Music. I know I sound incredibly sarcastic about the games value but I still just cannot see the game actually being played more than a few times in most households.

Unofficial PS3 Advert – This is how it’s done

By Gavin Mannion

I hope someone from Sony is paying attention this morning as a new fan based PS3 advert has hit the Internet and it is far better than the This Is Living series that was previously aired by Sony. Granted it needs a bit of fine tuning but it gets you excited about the console and what you can do with …
