Paradise PD’s second season is intelligently stupid, cunningly crude and it leaps headfirst off the bleeding edge of good taste straight into a chasm of shits ‘n giggles. Long may it stay there in an abyss that few dare to tread in.

While there are undeniable moments of power in Life Is Strange 2’s story, they’re strewn too far apart to make playing the game over again attractive. It’s a decent story, but as a gaming experience it disappoints, which is a real pity, given how good its two predecessors are.

Pokémon Mystery Dungeon Rescue DX may be nostalgic to true believers of the original Blue and Red Rescue Team games, but it’s a more shallow experience for everyone else that makes for an entirely forgettable experience.

It’s light as a feather, stiff as a board and there’s nary a wire to be seen. The Razer Viper Ultimate is an absolute heavyweight in all the right areas that matter, and if you’ve got the buck to spend you’ll be surprised at just how much bang you get back in return from a device that’ll keep you gaming for days on end.

The Sony RX100 VII is a great camera, but it is one that doesn’t hit every nail on the head with what it wants to be, excels in other areas that don’t even make the PR press release and costs an obscene amount of cash for a device that is limited in many ways. Chop the price tag down to a level that makes sense for this point ‘n click device, and we could have a go-to winner for the vlogger on the move.

Irritations and annoyances aside, Darksiders Genesis is still fantastic stuff. It’s a reinvigorating return to form for the franchise, taking the best of the series and remixing it with a few new ideas that makes for a great diversion over a dozen hours of escapism.

Dreams is so many ideas at any given time. It is ambition given form, imagination given vibrant life and unlimited possibility waiting to be shaped with your hands. Unique and inspiring, there’s no other game that even comes close to reaching Dreams and its intuitive approach to creating content.
