Tom Clancy's HAWX – Assistance Trailer

By Nick De Bruyne

While I still think that HAWX’s sounds like the name of a B-Grade fighter pilot movie and the fact that Tom Clancy’s name is slapped on it is for nothing but brand recognition, the actual games is actually starting to look impressive. This video shows off the difference between having the assistance mode on and off and how it affects …

Tom Clancy's H.A.W.X – Trailer

By Nick De Bruyne

I really must admit that when I first heard the title of this game when it was announced, I giggled quite a bit and wondered how far Ubisoft was going to go with the abusing the newly acquired Tom Clancy brand. It especially made me giggle because it was called H.A.W.X, which sounds like the title of a b-grade Action …

Tom Clancy's Endwar – Reviewed – Playstation 3

By Nick De Bruyne

by Brett Cocking I have never really liked RTS games, mostly because I couldn’t get the hang of the speed at which I was required to play in order to be competitive. This worried me when I got hold of Endwar, if they couldn’t find a way to slow the game down while keeping to the essence of an RTS, …

Parrots play EndWar, no kidding…

By Nick De Bruyne

Ok, I don't really know how to explain this one, but it's pretty awesome. The guy in this video has actually trained his parrots to play EndWar by teaching them the commands of the game. While he still needs to give them instructions on what to do, the mere fact that the game still has no problem recognising their commands is pretty amazing to say the least. It looks like the developers of EndWar have really done a great job with the system and as we all know, if they didn't, this entire game would be worth nothing.

EndWar Demo Coming to PS3 after all

By Nick De Bruyne
October 17, 2008
in :  Gaming

You may remember that just yesterday, we reported that the EndWar demo was not going to be coming to the PS3. The reason? We still aren't sure but this is really getting my interest because I want to know why. Are we looking at a scenario where companies are actually starting to get paid to keep their demo's exclusive? Maybe what is happening is just a reaction from Ubisoft against all of the noise being made because of the exclusive demo. I am going to keep my eye on this one.

Tom Clancy H.A.W.X to get Integrated Satellite Imagery from GeoEye

By BrettC

Yesterday Megarom announced that Ubisoft will be working in conjunction with GeoEye, a provider of satellite, aerial and geospatial technology, to use high resolution images taken from their earth-imaging satellite  for integration in Tom Clancy’s H.A.W.X. That means that all three versions of the game (pc/ps3/360) will have the players flying over GeoEye-provided satellite imagery in a three dimensional environment. …
