Gamedaily has posted up an article about games that they think will probably suck.

Some of these games are ones that you may expect and others are a lot more controversial. Either way, they caution you to hold on to your cash instead of running out and buying any of them.

The List is as follows:

1. Wii Music

2. LittleBigPlanet

3. Sonic Unleashed

4. Brothers in Arms: Hell’s Highway

5. Silent Hill Homecoming

6. Sonic Chronicles: Dark Brotherhood

7. Rock Revolution

8. Damnation

9. This is Vegas

10. Anything that begins with “Imagine”

Many of these seem like sure-fire suck fests, but then we have to look at an upcoming title like LittleBigPlanet and have to wonder if it will actually live up to the hype.

I think that LBP is looking very cool and does feature a lot of innovative ideas especially where communities are concerned but I still have that feeling that no one will be playing it after a month or two. I’m not being hard on the game, but a lot of the media is hyping it up to be the PS3’s killer-app and I just don’t see it filling shoes like that.

What really does scare me is something like Wii Music, although I was seriously unimpressed with it’s showing at E3, I have that sad feeling that it is still going to sell by the bucket-load.

For all of the explanations behind these choices you can view the source article below. What do you think of the choices? Let us know if you think that some of those titles don’t deserve to be on that list as well as if there are any titles that do.

That is pretty mutch my list at the moment.
Possibly Fallout 3 also… But I’m hoping it is better than it looks at the moment.

While i don’t believe in the “killer app” concept, i think LBP will be the exact opposite of what you say. I think people will be playing for a very long time after launch. It’s got “addictivness” written all over it.

i dont think hells highway should be there but the rest i agree with,

  • Agreed, even though Hell’s Highway is set in WW2, the actual game is one of the best story driven FPS games out there, as well as having some awesome features that I can’t really speak about.

but I get very frustrated with reviewers who don’t actually take the time to settle into the game and have a look at it’s depth. And because they’re so hung on the power that they have as reviewers they seem to gather this aura about them that the opinion actually matters… sorry just letting of some steam

    Mmmm. secret features… 😈

I haven’t played Hells Highway but I can vouch for some games having great depth and yet not enjoyment value.

I don’t want to study a Masters just to enjoy the game πŸ˜‰

Add Too Human in place of LBP and that list will look a bit more accurate.

  • I wasn’t referring to you lazy if that’s what we thought you wouldn’t have our support πŸ˜‰

  • Oh noes! They hates’s us precious! It buuurns us!

Or, replace all the non-Wii gems with Wii games. Nothing spectacular coming up for the Wii…

Hehe, oh Game Daily. Anything for a quick buck eh? ;D
Wonder how much money they get from hits?

But on another note, I did expect more from you lazy, posting a website that flares on just posting flamebait? I would wait until a more respected source posts their thoughts, on why they believe LBP wont live up to the hype, to back my opinion.

Anyone wanna start a site with me? Don`t need any experience in journalism, we’ll just be posting 10 page slideshows and put a few hundred ads in!

    It’s not set in stone. It’s just gamedaily’s opinion…. πŸ™„
