It’s a side of things we never really pay much attention to but when you think about it you have to feel for the guys.

Some of the Kane & Lynch developers have been chatting to GamesRadar and have spoken about how much it hurts reading the negative reviews that their game got.

I mean could you imagine pouring everything you have into a project for years and being so proud of it, only to have it ripped to shreds by some half wit hack with a bone to pick?

The gaming industry is a dodgy one and it’s such a fine line between a game going interstellar or amounting to nothing…

Take a look at Gears of War, some how all those bugs and glitches in the game made it more entertaining to play and levelled the playing field. If the game had shipped exactly how they wanted it to it would most probably not have been as popular.

    Still, though, companies that make a big deal of a bad review are going to be looked at badly. I mean, to compare it to the movie industry, companies don’t make movies for reviews, they make movies for those ticket sales. Obviously there is some meaning behind reviews, with some people only buying games because of good reviews, but still…
