Pimp my PS3 – PS3 Laptop

The boys at PS3hax.net have been very busy over the past 3 months making the first ever PS3 laptop. We have seen an Xbox 360 laptop before but this is the first time someone has compacted the PS3 into a convenient little box of joy.

They also took the time and effort to make it look good, I especially love the custom glowing logo’s that they made for the front and the back. For someone who travels a lot it would be fantastic to know that you could just whip your PS3 laptop out of a bag in your hotel room and put in your copy of MGS4. I’m pretty sure that you would need access to a plug nearby though because unless you hook it up to a car battery I couldn’t see this bad boy lasting very long.

These things are pretty damn cool. Will we ever see SKU’s like this from MS or Sony?

The creator of the laptop who is only known as “Pirate” says that he expects to make more version now that he knows what he is doing and also says that the newer ones will be even slimmer and more portable.

I wonder if any of the big boys will ever consider actually creating and selling mobile versions of their systems. It might sound a little crazy, but you can buy a desktop PC or a laptop from most PC manufactures, so why not consoles?
