Man, I loved the first Cloudy movie. It struck the right mix of humour and crazy, with animation that suited it perfectly. So of course, a sequel was commisioned quicker than a new food pun could be born. Inventor Flint Lockwood is back, along with the rest of his supporting cast, in order to stop food from taking over the world.
It’s the kind of movie that you don’t need alcohol to enjoy the film with. Just to enhance it.
It’s looking more of the same really, but I’m absolutely in love with the animation so far. And mixed in with all those food puns? Delicious! Ha, thank you, I’ll be here all week! Cloudy with a chance of meatballs will be serving up a full meal this year on October 22, and stars the voices of Bill Hader, Anna Faris, James Caan, Andy Samberg, Neil Patrick Harris, Benjamin Bratt, Terry Crews, Will Forte and Kristen Schaal.
