I don’t know about you guys, but I just feel a certain sense of rightness in the world when Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger are being framed for crimes they didn’t commit while wielding big guns. No, I’m not talking about Arnie impregnating his housekeeper.

The two Hollywood heavyweights have been trying to give us back that old school styled action movie over the last couple of years, and for their next effort, Escape Plan, they will be joining forces as Stallone does a Michael Schofield impersonation and Schwarzenegger has hair like an 80’s mobster. And you can check it all out in these 3 new TV spots for the action thriller.

One of the world’s foremost authorities on structural security agrees to take on one last job: breaking out of an ultra-secret, high-tech facility called “The Tomb.” Deceived and wrongly imprisoned, Ray Breslin (Sylvester Stallone) must recruit fellow inmate Emil Rottmayer (Arnold Schwarzenegger) to help devise a daring, nearly impossible plan to escape from the most protected and fortified prison ever built.

Escape Plan will be breaking into US cinemas this Friday, October 18, but we’ll have to wait a bit longer to see Sly and Arnie in our correctional institutions as it only hits our shores on December 13, 2013.

  1. I really like this trend of old school action flicks. Not to say that the deeper ‘Driver’ movies aren’t awesome but for pure guilty entertainment, WIN.
