Despite it’s wibbly-wobbly ending, there’s no doubt as to the major impact Lost had on the television landscape. Since we left the mysterious island, TV networks have been desperately trying to find the next Lost. Pro-tip: Maybe they should just have asked the guy that helped create the first one?
Damon Lindelof is coming back to TV, collaborating with celebrated author Tom Perotta for The Leftovers, which may not be about cold pizza the morning after, but appears to be equally as tasty. The first teaser trailer for the “Is it or is not the Rapture?” drama (it’s Lindelof, so there has to be a mystery) had me very intrigued, but this intense full trailer just outright has me by short ‘n curlies!
Just a warning: This is an HBO show, so yes, the trailer is a bit NSFW.
The Leftovers stars Justin Theroux, Amy Brenneman, Christopher Eccleston, Liv Tyler, Charlie Carver, Max Carver, Carrie Coon, Ann Dowd, Michael Gaston, Emily Meade, Annie Q, Margaret Qualley, Amanda Warren and Chris Zylka and will premiere on HBO on June 29, 2014. No word yet on local broadcast dates.

After one to watch & see. I watched the Penny Dreadful pilot the other night, looks like it could be something fun. Also started Orphan Black – I want Tatiana Maslany’s babies.

Make high quality baby oil. That is what it’s made of right?

If that’s true then I don’t want to know hoe boerewors is made.
