Despite reports of my overall magnanimity, I must admit that I’m not exactly fluent in Russian other than toasting for drinks and saying goodnight. Because of this slight oversight, I actually don’t really know what is being said in this first trailer for Viking (brought to my attention by TwitchFilm). But who the hell needs words when your trailer is filled with nothing but scene after scene of either jaw dropping cinematic beauty or just plain undiluted badasness?!
Check it out below!
Kievan Rus, late 10th century. After the death of his father, the young Viking prince Vladimir of Novgorod is forced into exile across the frozen sea.
This piece of movie awesomeness comes from Russian filmmaker Andrei Kravchuk, and is currently only set to debut in his homeland in December 2016, with a further international release probably only happening later in 2017. And after that amazing trailer, that is going to be one hell of a long wait.

That looks seriously awesome. Love the fact that I haven’t watched the movie in the trailer esp.
