Wow, what a weekend of craziness from Comic-Con! There’s been a flood of trailers and news since Saturday, and I’ve barely been able to keep up. So I thought I’d gather everything in one place, in case, like me, you were feeling a bit overwhelmed.

First up the really big news. There was a new Justice League trailer and an amazingly exciting Wonder Woman trailer to accompany it. Sticking with DC, we also got some new remixed trailer of Suicide Squad, with some kick-ass music. On their TV side, we saw Arrow’s season 5 trailer debut, which left a good impression, and a first look at season 3 of The Flash.

The Marvel side was a bit thin on trailers, with the the trailer for Doctor Strange being the highlight, but there was news aplenty. First up, Ghost Rider will be making an appearance in Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. We also learned a lot more about the highly anticipated Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, as well as Captain Marvel, Thor: Ragnarok, Black Panther and Spider-Man. Oh, and some juicy details about Planet Hulk as well.

Joss Whedon set some hearts aflame when he dropped a (not so little) hint that he would love to direct a Black Widow stand-alone movie, so come on Marvel, get on it! Oh and speaking of Whedon, how does a sequel to Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog sound? Lastly, and only tangentially related to Marvel, there’s an X-Men spin-off TV series headed our way, called Legion.

Phew, that’s a lot of news so far, and we are only about half way through! But moving away from the comic powerhouses of DC and Marvel, let’s see what else we found out.

As far as trailers go, we got our first look at Kong: Skull Island, and we got to swoon over Charlie Hunnam in King Arthur: The Legend of The Sword. We also got another peek at the Harry Potter spin-off Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them, alongside more trailers for Lego Batman.

Staying with trailers, we finally got to see some of the long awaited Sherlock season 4, which gets produced at such a glacial pace we’re grateful for anything at this point. Fox also debuted their new show, The Exorcist and while lucky Comic-Con attendees got to see the full pilot, we’ll have to make do with just a trailer for now. Sadly, we can’t even make do with a trailer for Dirk Gently’s Holistic Detective Agency anymore, as it’s subsequently been removed from YouTube, so I hope you were lucky enough to catch it.

Star Trek is coming back to its TV origins with Star Trek Discovery, and SyFy is back to doing, well, sci-fi, with their trailer for season two of The Expanse. Finally, here’s something totally random, Prison Break is back for a fourth season. Who knew?

On the news side, the live action Archie TV reboot, Riverdale, has been compared to a “teenage Twin Peaks”, which sounds both interesting and wholly unlike the original Archie comics. One of the most surprising pieces of news is that the upcoming film by Adam Wingard, The Woods, is actually a secret sequel to The Blair Witch Project. Talk about plot twists!

Lastly, the thing I am undoubtedly most excited for, the debut of the first trailer for Neil Gaiman’s American Gods. One of my favourite books by one of my favourite authors, and the show looks like it’s going to be mind-blowing.

So there you have it, one crazy weekend’s worth of news, all rolled in to one. And all brought to you by our tireless powerhouse of an editor-in-chief, Kervyn, so huge round of applause to the big man!

Over to you. What news are you most excited about, or least? What would you have liked to see, but didn’t? What did you think of Comic-Con 2016?
