While not being the biggest Halo fan I do still have to take my hat off to Bungie and Microsoft when it comes to marketing their game.
Every single time a new version of Halo is preparing to get released I get sucked into the hype and end up really looking forward to it’s release.
With Halo Reach I wasn’t even remotely interested but then this video was released and now I am hooked.
I really like the addition of assassinations, as long as they can only be performed from behind, as well as the jet packs which if done right will add an awesome vertical experience to the game.
I can’t really tell if the Splinter Cell Conviction styled informative writing is purely for this demo but I really hope we see that in the main game as well.
So if you haven’t gotten yourself a copy of Halo: ODST yet and you want to join in the Beta coming on May 3rd I would strongly recommend going and picking up a copy.
What’s even more impressive is that all this footage is from the Alpha version…

I must admit, I wasn’t all that excited about Halo Reach either, I still haven’t had a chance to see the trailer, but based on what you’ve written, I’m excited to see what is going to be on offer.
From the screenshot, I like the mood and the style.

According to Kotaku it was made just for Bungie so your best bet would be iTunes I guess
“The trailer, they say, features a C Paul track originally orchestrated for the Halo 3: ODST Original Soundtrack. The studio brought in Ivan Ives to help them create a “high energy remix” of the music. Here’s Ives’ take on the process:” http://kotaku.com/5484579/a-bit-more-on-that-halo-reach-multiplayer-vid

I can see a huge upgrade from Halo 3, it looks better, the animation is more fluid and explosions look great! I think Bungie has outdone themselves this time, don’t you think?
