We reported a few days ago that Wallmart had posted the strongly rumoured hi-def and repackaged Team ICO collection as available for pre-order. Sony has now confirmed the remastered collection via the Japanese gaming magazine Famitsu. To be honest, this isn’t really that big of a surprise seeing as the rumours of the collection have been plentiful over the last few months. It is, however, fantastic news all the same.
Kotaku is reporting that a Swedish game retailer has posted the supposed box art for the Team ICO collection. You can see it for yourself after the jump.
Do you like it? I’m undecided, but also reminding myself that this is the supposed box art. It’s very similar to the God Of War I and II re-mastered collection so perhaps Sony is standardising this layout for future PlayStation 3 re-releases?
Anyway, let us know what you think in the comments and, more importantly, confess if you haven’t already played these two amazing games! If you haven’t, and you own a PlayStation 3, then you are in for a treat. No release dates as yet, but we’ll keep an eye out and let you know.

The boxart could have JustPlainGeoff showing off his meat and two veg and I’d still buy it. I’d throw away the box though.

Sneaky Sony. Instead of bringing in backward compatibility they re-master older titles and make a big profit!

Personally i hate BC on my PS3. The smoothing on PS3 does nothing for me and id prefer HD remakes. Only of the best PS2 games though.
