Infinity Blade gameplay trailer is unbelievable

You know about Infinity Blade; we spoke about it last week while I bemoaned the lack of iOS device in my life. Well, there’s a trailer for the game now, and all it’s done is kick me while I’m down. Damn, it looks awesome.

From the looks of the trailer, combat is fast-paced and utilises gestures for attacks. Swipe your finger across your enemy and your character will slash his sword in that direction. The game looks like your typical over-the-shoulder, RPG hack and slash, only on Apple’s iOS enabled devices. Oh, did I mention it looks amazing for a handheld game? Actually, it looks amazing full stop.

Damn it! I really, really need an iPad now.

The game hits the App Store this holiday season, and is compatible with the iPad, iPod Touch and iPhone.
