If there’s one thing that’s missing from Pokémon X and Y, it’s a trio of themed legendries. I’m not talking about cover stars such as Xerneas and Yveltal, but rather a group of pocket monsters such as the legendary dogs, birds or elf trios. But it looks like X and Y are getting their mythical group after all. Which makes me glad that I hung onto my master ball.
Over on NeoGAF, the following images surfaced of the new Pokémon. From top to bottom, they are Diancie, Hoopa & Volcanion. Diancie is allegedly a Rock/Fairy Type, Hoopa is a Psychic/Ghost type and Volcanion is a Fire/Water type Pokémon.
The trio hasn’t been encountered yet in the game, and seeing how this is the age of the internet and there isn’t a Reddit thread yet detailing how to catch ‘em, it’s a pretty safe bet that those new Pokedex entries are going to require players to be around for some kind of event.
Damn, Volcanion looks baws.
