The first Halo 3 sales figures are coming in and it looks like it is easily going to break the $155 million mark for first day sales.
So far 1.8 million units have been shipped at an average cost of $78. In other words Microsoft and Bungie have shipped $140 million worth already and look to be on their way to having first day sales of $190 million… What are the chances of them breaking the $200m barrier?

$200 million would be amazing – just from a gaming aspect, even 🙂 . But, yeah, congratulations Microsoft, it isn’t like you poured EVERYTHING into it, huh 😉 ?

Update: Confirmed Halo 3 made $170 million. Well done Microsoft. Very well done. Somehow, if Microsoft wasn’t the biggest multinational in the world – second only to Coke – this achievement would be sooooo much bigger 😀 !
