Bobcat Goldthwait returns with "God Bless America"

If you were suffering from a terminal illness, with only a limited amount of time left to live, what would you? Tie up loose ends? Spend quality time with your loved ones? Create a bucket list?

How about going on a murder spree and killing every single person who annoyed you in the slightest way? That’s the premise for the latest film from Bobcat Goldthwait, as his latest film that he wrote and directed sees Joel Murray team up with Tara Lynne Barr for the dark comedy.

Trailer with some naughty, possibly NSFW language after the jump.

For those of you who can’t watch the trailer, the synopsis is simple. Murray plays a despondent man with a brain tumour, that has had enough of the current American culture that he lives in, and decides to go on a killing spree, murdering every single person who irritates him, from bratty teenagers to repulsive reality TV stars.

Along the way, Murray is joined by Tara Lynne Barr’s character, making for a tag team of dark humour and violence. Looks like a guilty pleasure of a film so far, and something that will actually stimulate the mind for once.

I’m so hoping that the film pays a visit to a certain New Jersey shoreline when it releases…

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
