Come and get your love with the GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY Blu-ray from December 9

Cosmic adventures! A talking tree and space raccoon! Dance-offs! It’s safe to say that Guardians Of The Galaxy was most likely a hit film that would have made stuck-in-their-way Hollywood executives foam at the mouth when they saw the script for this movie. Over $600 million worldwide and counting so far, the film has done wonders for Marvel. And it’ll most likely make even more of that sweet, sweet cash when it hits Blu-Ray.

Here’s the list of special features for the film:

  • Never-Before-Seen Deleted Scenes
  • Making-of Featurettes
  • Exclusive Look at Marvel’s The Avengers: Age of Ultron
  • Gag Reel
  • Audio Commentary

Besides the Avengers: Age Of Ultron tease, it’s a pretty scant assortment of extras. Which is something that Blu-Ray DVDs need to get past. Films are being pirated heavily these days, and consumers want something that is worth their cash. Hell, even George Lucas knew this a decade ago, as the Star Wars prequel DVDs were multiple hour treats filled with perhaps far too much content.

Then again, this will most likely be the first of many, many Blu-Rays, each one packing more content than the last. Urgh. Guardians Of The Galaxy will be dancing off in your home on December 9. It’s also releasing on DVD, but its not like anyone uses such antiquated technology these days, am I right?
