DOCTOR STRANGE casts the green light of Cytorrak

We already know that the next batch of Marvel movies are going cosmic before the eventual Avengers sequel. But what the next batch? What direction will Marvel take with bringing newer franchises to the big screen. Well, one franchise has been thrown around for years now, since Marvel hit it big on the silver screen.

And by the eye of Agamotto and the Kinky tastes of Kervyn, it looks like Dr Strange is getting the green light to make that jump from printed page to Hollywood.

Marvel’s movie maestro Kevin Feige let loose the news while promoting Thor: The Dark World to “It’s in active development right now,” Feige said.

Doc Strange, as I’ve been saying for years, is a movie I believe we should make. We’re just figuring out how to make it a great movie. Whether that’s one of the movies we announce for 2016 or 2017, we have to see. I think it’ll be the middle of next year before we announce officially what the post Ant-Man films will be. Stuff might happen before that. It’s too early to tell.

Right now, Ant Man is leading the phase 3 charge, with Edgar Wright bringing his signature style to hero. That film will be out in late 2015. I’d put money on Dr Strange arriving in 2016 personally, as a ton of work has already been done on getting the character prepped for the big screen. Now the only question is, who’s going to be playing the sorcerer supreme?
