Everything ends in this extended Doctor Who trailer for THE TIME OF THE DOCTOR

The Time of the Doctor (1)

Guys, I genuinely have a sad right now. He may not be my favourite Doctor, but I’d be worse than a Dalek if I didn’t acknowledge the contribution that Matt Smith made to the Doctor Who franchise. The Time of The Doctor will most likely make for one helluva sad Christmas, but at least Smith is going out with a bang.

Orbiting a quiet backwater planet, the massed forces of the universe’s deadliest species gather, drawn to a mysterious message that echoes out to the stars – and amongst them, the Doctor. Rescuing Clara from a family Christmas dinner, the Time Lord and his best friend must learn what this enigmatic signal means for his own fate and that of the universe.

One interesting wrinkle I noticed in that trailer, is that the Doctor will be facing someone familiar with him. Honestly though, I’m just psyched to see the Cybermen return, as the upgraded versions are by far my favourite enemies in the series now. Christmas Day marks the final adventure for Smith, with Peter Capaldi taking over and hopefully addressing that regeneration problem, as Smith potentially has no more extra lives left under that Gallifreyan physiology.

Something wrong gentlemen? You come here prepared to read the words of a madman, and instead found a lunatic obsessed with comics, Batman and Raul Julia's M Bison performance in the 1994 Street Fighter movie? Fine! Keep your bio! In fact, now might be a good time to pray to it!
