Hangover "Wolf Pack" want $15 million each for Hangover 3

Apparently it really pays to get drunk and lose your memory. I have a theory that that’s actually exactly what happened to the entire cast and crew of the Hangover films, which would explain why they gave us the exact same movie twice without batting an eyelid.

Now, they’re hoping to do it for a third time. Only this time, the film’s “Wolf Pack” all want a bump in pay. According to The Hollywood Reporter, stars Bradley Cooper, Zach Galifianakis and Ed Helms are all asking for a cool $15 million a piece for the 3rd installment in the film franchise. Comparatively, they each only took home $1 million for the first film, and about $10 million ($5 million in pay, the rest in back-end compensation) for the second. If Warner Bros. acquiesces to their request, then just their combined salaries alone will exceed the entire budget of the first film by $10 million.

And at this stage, it certainly seems likely that they will be getting their way. The previous two films combined made approximately $1 billion (yes, with “b”) worldwide, and Warner Bros. would certainly view $45 million as nothing but a sound investment. Personally though, I hope they’re prepared to also dump some cash in the lap of a good writer, as I just don’t think I can stomach another bout of film deja vu.
