The park, is still open! It’s such an emotional time! Week two for Jurassic World kicked off, with the dino-tastic flick still enjoying a massive box office haul, taking in over $102 million over the weekend and easily securing the top spot. Worldwide, the flick has already amassed over $981 million, putting it in the running for a world record on how quickly it can take in $1 billion by this weekend.

Over on the animated side, Pixar’s latest animated effort opened in second place. Inside Out made over $91 million, making it the second largest weekend for a Pixar film, just behind Toy Story 3 ($110.3 million) in 2010. Here’s how everyone else did in the estimates department, on the weekend.

  • Jurassic World – $102 Million
  • Inside Out – $91 Million
  • Spy – $10.5 Million
  • San Andreas – $8.2 Million
  • Dope – $6 Million
  • Insidious Chapter Three – $4.1 Million
  • Pitch Perfect 2 – $3.3 Million
  • Mad Max: Fury Road – $2.8 Million
  • Avengers: Age of Ultron – $2.7 Million
  • Tomorrowland – $2 Million

Top ten departures this week include Love & Mercy and Entourage. The cult classic TV show Entourage didn’t exactly fare well at the box office. As a three week run has only seen it make just over $39.1 million so far.
