How about those Marvel movies lately, huh? They were kind of alright! Good even! Phase 2 started with a bang as Iron Man faced off against the nefarious might of…Trevor, and continued on a mopier Thor, a Captain America movie where Samuel L Jackson wasn’t the baddest mother-lover around and an awesome mix that hit all the right notes.

Now if only someone would bundle all those films into one convenient collection, throw in a cool extra or two and maybe some unnecessary 3D Blu-Ray discs, that’d be fab. Which is exactly what Marvel is doing.

Amazon has posted a listing for the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase 2 Collection, which packs all of the Phase 2 movies into that handy bundle which I’m currently lusting for. If you don’t remember the Phase 1 boxset, then you might have forgotten about the neat physical extras that that collection threw in.

Specifically, a SHIELD briefcase, dossiers and an infinity stone. Or the Tesseract/ Cosmic Cube to be exact. The Phase 2 collection also looks set to have another infinity stone in play, with the listing saying “the limited-edition, 13-disc Marvel Cinematic Universe: Phase Two Collection invites you to hold the greatest power in the cosmos in the palm of your hand”.

Hopefully I can get Kervyn to hold it and watch him combust into space-energy. Here’s what the full movie collection will hold:

  • Marvel’s Iron Man 3 (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + Digital Copy)
  • Marvel’s Thor: The Dark World (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + Digital Copy)
  • Marvel’s Captain America: The Winter Soldier (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + Digital Copy)
  • Marvel’s Guardians of the Galaxy (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + Digital Copy)
  • Marvel’s Avengers: Age of Ultron (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + Digital Copy)
  • Marvel’s Ant-Man (Blu-ray 3D + Blu-ray + Digital Copy)
  • Top-Secret Bonus Disc and more!

There’s no current release date set for this yet, but Disney say that’ll it be around in time for the Christmas holidays.
