Furious 7 Movie Poster

If the NFL Super Bowl is known across the world for anything besides rugby-with-helmets, it’s the adverts. More specifically, movie adverts – or as us folk in the know like to call them… trailers. Well prepare to have your Ferrari of a quarterback sacked by the Mac truck of a linebacker as this terrible American soccer football and vehicular metaphor mash-up comes to an magnificent conclusion with the trailer for the latest The Fast & The Furious sequel, Furious 7.

Following the Furious team’s adventures in London, they’re back in the US enjoying barbecues and their new legal status. However their domestic bliss is cut short when Owen Shaw’s (Luke Evans) brother Deckard (series newcomer Jason Statham) comes looking for revenge.

Wow, check realism at the door, but those stunts look incredible – which is exactly what we want and expect from Fast and Furious.

Directed by James Wan and out in the US on 3 April, Furious 7 stars Vin Diesel, the late Paul Walker (RIP), Jason Statham, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Lucas Black, Elsa Pataky, Kurt Russell (Snake!), Tyrese Gibson, Chris “Ludacris” Bridges, Ronda Rousey, Djimon Hounsou, Tony Jaa and the kitchen sink.

tbh, its not what i want or expect, i want and expect less stunts, less action and more fast cars and more street racing.
i want more fast and less furious.
its changed from need for speed into battlefield 2 C4 jumping.

I’m actually looking forward to this, even though some of the stunts might become a little over the top – like the infinity runway in the previous movie. On a totally different tangent, the scene with the Rock sporting a mini-gun looks awesome, but suddenly made me think that the Rock might be a good candidate for a new Predator movie?
