This final Red-Band trailer for 22 JUMP STREET is literally reaching out for you

1 min read

Yesterday, we showed you the first clip from hilarious looking sequel to 21 Jump Street, which boasted easily the funniest Mexican accent in the history of film. The fact that this bout of hilarity comes from Channing Tatum, a guy who a few years ago was known mostly as a set of abs that could dance, makes this even more impressive. But with 21 Jump Street, Tatum established some brilliant chemistry with co-star Jonah Hill, and with Phil Lord and Chris Miller (The LEGO Movie) behind the camera, it became the breakout comedy smash-hit of 2012.

And judging from this final Red-Band trailer for that film’s sequel, 22 Jump Street (because they’ve just moved their HQ across the road now), they’re about to do the same thing again.

After making their way through high school (twice), big changes are in store for officers Schmidt and Jenko when they go deep undercover at a local college. But when Jenko meets a kindred spirit on the football team, and Schmidt infiltrates the bohemian art major scene, they begin to question their partnership. Now they don’t have to just crack the case – they have to figure out if they can have a mature relationship. If these two overgrown adolescents can grow from freshmen into real men, college might be the best thing that ever happened to them.

22 Jump Street also stars Ice Cube, Peter Stormare, Dave Franco, Nick Offerman and Richard Grieco – yes, that Richard Grieco – and will be taking their thing to the next level on June 13, 2014.
