RAW Feb 18

WWE Monday Night RAW took place from the Cajundome in Lafayette, Louisiana. Here’s all the action that went down the night after WWE Elimination Chamber.

Triple H announced the arrival of Tommaso Ciampa, Johnny Gargano, Ricochet and Aleister Black

The RAW roster just got a little bit more packed! WWE COO Triple H decided to kick the show off by giving RAW a kickstart ahead of the Fastlane event, as he announced that Ricochet, Aleister Black, NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano and NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa were joining team red. Not only that, but they’d be seen in a few matches later in the night, right after some business between Braun Strowman and Baron Corbin was taken care of immediately in the ring.

Braun Strowman def. Baron Corbin (Tables Match)

Without any tactical support by his side, WWE’s Lone Wolf had a harder time facing Braun Strowman in a rematch where tables were fair game. Despite his wear and tear on Strowman’s battered ribs, Corbin eventually found himself on the wrong side of a table when Strowman caught him in a running powerslam.

Intercontinental Champion Finn Bálor and Ricochet def. Bobby Lashley and Lio Rush

Finn Balor may be an extraordinary man who does extraordinary things, but there’s a reason why Ricochet is called the one and only. Performing some death-defying moves with the newly minted Intercontinental champion last night, Ricochet performed a stunning 630 manoeuvre on Lio Rush while Balor kept Bobby Lashley occupied, ending the match in stunning fashion.

The Lucha House Party def. Zack Ryder and Curt Hawkins

Hey would you look at that, the Curt Hawkins losing streak continues.

NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa & NXT North American Champion Johnny Gargano def. Raw Tag Team Champions The Revival

In a rematch from 2016 that was meant to highlight what a tag team bout should be, newly-minted RAW title holders The Revival found themselves battered and bruised by the powerhouse duo of Tommaso Ciampo and Johnny Gargano. Champions in their own right, NXT’s heavyweights put aside their differences long enough to hand the Revival a humiliating defeat, but don’t expect this partnership to last for more than a night with the bad blood that is still brewing between these rivals.

Drew McIntyre def. Dean Ambrose

Psychopath versus lunatic? That made for a hell of a match! Or a hell of a beating, as Dean Ambrose provoked the wrong Scotsman last night, and found himself on the receiving end of a pair of Claymores that put him down for the count.

Aleister Black def. Elias

Having seen NXT’s invasion pretty much destroy the RAW roster throughout the night, Elias decided to play it smart and dirty in his bout against Aleister Black. Unfortunately, Elias wasn’t smart enough, as the Dutch destroyer fought hard to deliver a Black Mass boot that put the minstrel down for the night.

Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey def. Ruby Riott

She beat her at Elimination Chamber. She beat her last night again on RAW. Looks like Ruby Riott’s championship dreams are well and truly over.
