There are very few trailers that genuinely make me want to buy or play a game. At E3 this year though, there were several cinematics that had me drooling just a little bit. Titles like Assassins Creed Unity and Rise of the Tomb Raider for example really grabbed my interest. Then there was the announcement for Valiant Hearts: The Great War. That trailer is still one of my favourites! Thankfully the game is quite good, living up somewhat to the hype it created. It’s available on just about every platform now, including Android.
Here’s the trailer and press release (via Joystiq)
Today Ubisoft announced that Valiant Hearts: The Great War™, the puzzle-adventure game set during World War I, will be available on November 26th on Google Play Store and Amazon Appstore. Additionally, the interactive comic book Dogs of War will also be available for free to all Valiant Hearts: The Great War™ owners on iOS and Android devices.
This mobile version introduces intuitive controls that have been optimized to give the player a smooth gameplay experience. The puzzle-based gameplay on mobile platforms offers completely rethought touch controls and an immersive way to interact with history. This version also includes detailed historical content and the ability to seamlessly share interesting facts on social media channels.
I have searched the Google Play Store and it is available already. If I’m not mistaken, the full package costs R204,49. Alternately, you can buy the first episode for R59,99 to see what the title is all about. The others are purchasable thereafter within the game itself.
I have STILL not played Valiant Hearts myself. Have you played it? Should I have picked it up months ago when it came out? I’m not a fan of those damn onion ninjas that will surely appear if I play it!
