Assassin s Creed Syndicate 2

The Assassin’s Creed games are part of a rather large franchise. There has been plenty of merchandising, but also a ton of other lore and content to build up a global concept of the assassins. Assassin’s Creed Chronicles lets players experience unique versions of the game in new countries and all the lore apparently fits together. Assassin’s Creed Syndicate will push this international tie-in even more with its leader of the assassins in London.

We already knew that Jacob and Evie headed to London to take down a big bad Templar. However, there is a bit more to the story than we knew thus far. Here is a pure PR interview that explains a few of these new details.

So Henry Green, an Indian immigrant with the least Indian name I’ve ever heard, is actually the leader of the British Assassins and asks for Jacob and Evie’s help in London. Digging into his story a bit more thanks to the Assassin’s Creed Wiki, I found out that he’s also the son of Arbaaz Mir, a master assassin of the Indian Brotherhood who appears in Assassin’s Creed; Brahman and Assassin’s Creed Chronicles: India. I hope that we get a bit of insight into his character, too – it will be nice to include some colonial aspects in the game as well.

The more I hear about the game, the more excited I get. I think Assassin’s Creed Syndicate is poised to be the best Assassin’s Creed games we’ve seen in years. Rogue had an excellent story and character, but was on last gen consoles so no one cared. Unity was what we all know it was. Black Flag was fun mainly because it was pretty and let you sail around as a silly assassin pirate, but the last great Assassin’s Creed was in the Ezio years. Here’s hoping that this installment is a return to form for the franchise.

Will wait for reviews for the game because of the whole Unity mess however the game is really sounding good to me!

Black Flag was by far my favourite AC game so far (haven’t played Unity and Rogue yet). I loved the Ezio trilogy, but Black Flag trumped it on gameplay.

Really looking forward to Syndicate, everything i’ve seen about the world and the twins has been really cool so far.
