If you, like me, still spend an ass-load of time playing Battlefield: Bad Company 2 (especially since the price drop in December) then you may want to give me your attention for just a moment.
Most of you won’t know this, but the Bad Company 2 Xbox 360 servers have actually been down for the last couple of hours, and still will be for another hour or two as DICE and EA do a little bit of maintenance.
So why then oh Nick, you hunk of a good-looking beast you, should we even care – you may ask? Well mostly because there will be a few issues afterwards.
According to the folks on the official Battlefield Blog, they expect some issues to arise as a result of folks all hoping back onto the servers, this is what they had to say:
“We expect that there will be some minor stats issues right after the downtime when all the players are getting back online at the same time; this effect will diminish over the following 2 hours.”
So folks, if you were planning on playing some Bad Company 2 on 360 later today, be prepared for a couple of issues.
