I received a tip about a new Battlefield Bad Company video on the Eurogamer site and quickly ran over there to be amazed.
I have been looking forward to this game for quite some time, however the video itself didn’t live up to my expectations. If I take aim at someone and put 4 bullets into them, then I expect them to die. Unless we are playing something more arcadey like Army of Two or The Club.
However Battlefield BC is going up against Call of Duty 4 and one of it’s main features is realism, especially with the destructible environments. The environments do seem to be destructing very nicely but I hope they fix the super powers that the guys seem to have. A bullet in the head is fatal.

I agree, I hope they didn’t focus all their attention on blowing up stuff and not on the Ai as well… it looks to me like the Ai aint too smart…
however I think if you’re slightly a superhuman character as well, it makes sense in a game since all the cover can be blown up, i.e. you won’t have much chance of surviving!
however the GFx look awesome! and the intensity is defiantly there!

I really hope they don’t mess it up. BF has always a “3 burst kill” type game.
The thing that worries me is the frikkin noob toobs. They’re annoying games like CoD4 already, now they look like BFG. they shouldn’t be able to take done a double layer brick wall.
