Become a game developer for less than $15 – Humble Bundle

I think everyone who is a fan of gaming has at one point or another felt like they’ve got the greatest idea for a game and if only they had the skills to do it, and the capital required, they could make the game of their dreams.

Well Humble Bundle is coming to the rescue for one of those requirements and is today selling a game developers bundle that includes a smorgasbord of options from gaming engines, to assets and asset creation software to some examples of solid indie games for you to get inspiration from.

As always you can pay whatever you want to get the base package or pay over the $10.78 average to get the extras. For $12 you gain the top-level pack that includes a goat game… which surely is worth $12 all by itself.

I’ve always wanted to try my hand at creating a game and have never managed to follow through with it but this time I’m determined to create the best local game ever developed and put…. oh look a squirrel.

Where was I… Oh yeah so if you would like to give it a shot and see if you have some hidden talent in you then head on over to HumbleBundle and pick up your millionaire starter pack. The software included is worth nearly $2000, and your purchases can be split however you’d like – with the charities involved this time being Extra Life, Indicade and Child’s Play. If you’ve purchased the bundle and need a bit of local help and guidance, saunter over to MakeGamesSA.
