Doom

Last year’s revival of DOOM wasn’t just a nostalgic romp through the past: It was brutal, gory and featured plenty of reward for anyone who favoured a speedy kill. Simply put, the best first-person shooter of the year even when it was faced with some stiff competition. That the DOOM of 2016. For 2017, Bethesda is giving their premiere FPS a VR face-lift with DOOM VFR. Here’s the first bloodtastic trailer for it:

DOOM VFR looks like it has an interesting twist on the shooting mechanics of VR games, with a point to point kill system that has you warping between demons summoned to the red sands of Mars. It also looks like I might finally have to empty my bank account for a VR headset. And the PC to use it on. Thanks Bethesda.
