Beyond Mass Effect 3, BioShock Infinite is easily my most anticipated game this year; even nabbing our best of E3 award last year. From what we’ve seen of it, it’s going to be an incredible experience. First announced in 2010, the game’s been in development since just after the first game – so it’s had nearly 5 years in the oven.
It’s nearly done.
You’ll be able to hear Nolan North’s magical, ubiquitous voice in another video game…probably tomorrow, but you’ll also be able to hear him voice BioShock Infinite’s Booker DeWitt in October You’ll be able to play the game on October16th for our American chums, and the 19th for the rest of us.
“After BioShock, we had a vision for a follow up that dwarfed the original in scope and ambition,” said Ken Levine, creative director of Irrational Games. “BioShock Infinite has been our sole focus for the last four years, and we can’t wait for fans to get their hands on it.”
We can’t wait either.
