Blur – Powered Up Racing

Blur

Unlike Nick I am not a big fan of car sim games where the entire point of the game is to try and be as realistic as possible.

If I was asked for my favourite game it would most probably still be any one of the Burnout series or if we wanted to go further back then Carmageddon.

Blur fits nicely into this genre with its unrealistic handling, power ups and crash and burn gameplay… However that doesn’t mean it’s going to be good.

I was quite excited about this title but the more I see of it the less impressed I am, the below trailer is all about the power ups on offer and I have to say I am a little unimpressed by the lack of originality with these…

It’s like Mario Kart on steroids.
