Call of Duty 5 – Back to WWII

It seems that Activision has decided that for its next Call of Duty instalment they are going back to basics. Back to the developer who created the under whelming Call of Duty 3 and back to the overly done World War 2 era.

I honestly don’t know why they wouldn’t want to continue on the huge success of Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare? You always want to give a company the benefit of the doubt so early in but you do have to wonder what they are thinking here…

Anyway here’s to hoping it will be a great title when it does get released.

What a very stupid thing to do , they could have given us a jungle or modern american cities as backdrop rather.

There are rumors that Infinity Ward is already working on COD 6. This means that the publishers wants an extra iteration before COD 6 is released. So basically COD 5 is just a filler before COD 6 released. Regardless of that, I still enjoyed COD 3 so hopefully I will enjoy COD 5 as well.

Treyarch’s CoD3 was mediocre to say the least. Not holding my breath for this one.
