Campaigners asking for Modern Warfare 3 to be banned

1 min read

It had to happen at some point but even I am surprised that people are already calling for Modern Warfare 3 to be banned.

The reason this time is that a group of Londoners are upset that the tube attack scene in the MW3 trailer (below) is too similar to the London terrorists attacks from July 2005.

They feel that Activision are being insensitive to the attack which killed 52 people when terrorists blew up a train and a bus on the 7th of July 2005.

But I can’t really see that they have much of a point as the July terrorist attack was carried about by single suicide bombers while in this video the train is being attacked by someone in the back of a truck with a machine gun and the train itself looks to be empty.

The terrorist attacks on London were a terrible thing but they can’t now stifle any action movies or games from being near any trains, that’s just overkill.
