Does the name Harrison Krix ring a bell? It probably doesn’t. That’s probably because his awesome creations get all the glory, while he does all the dirty work. He has this to say about himself in his profile:

I’m a 28 year old dork working in Graphic Design and living in Atlanta. In my free time, I design and make replica props from things such as movies and videogames. On this blog you’ll find my latest finished projects, as well as an archive of previous builds. I outline my processes in the hopes that my work will inspire others to take on the DIY mantle and tackle some projects of their own.

I’m sure that by now you may have seen at least one of his amazing video game props, but if you haven’t, you are really going to want to. A Mass Effect assault rifle, Fallout 3 Laser rifle, Team Fortress 2 sawed-off shotgun, Portal gun and more.

I have some pics and links, check them out after the jump.

Harrison posts up these incredible step-by-step blog posts that show you how he creates these props and if this doesn’t make you want to go and cut some shit up in your garage, I don’t know what will.
