So I posted those awesome screenshots of Damnation yesterday and got nailed for not knowing that it was a cross platform title.
Which meant I had to head out and find out some more info about this game.
Eurogamer has put up a nice first look story about Damnation and it sounds like the game has some great potential but it also has the ability to flop at the moment.
It’s self confessed inspiration is Gears of War but without the cover system and with a lot more running and gunning.
It is also going to have the aerobatic ability of Assassin’s Creed but again with more of an action feel to it…
It’s being made by a studio that has only previously made movies so you would be forgiven by thinking that they are going to throw all their resources into the graphics but according to them
We will sacrifice quality on animations for twitch control. I would rather have a tight, responsive game than take an extra second of an animation of a guy pulling himself up
So at the moment this is on my interested list but after reading the Eurogamer preview it sounds like they need to step up a level or the game is going to fall short.

Oh the game is available on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.. so maybe it’s not the PS3 console mover I (tongue in cheek) claimed it may be…

When I saw the screenshots yesterday, the first thing that came to mind was “what’s hiding under the hood, if you will, of those suffocating breasts”? By the sounds of things (and on my initial hunch), probably not all that much ‘real’ or with substance.
