Dark Messiah is out to mixed reviews

1 min read

I have to apologies firstly to someone, someone sent me a bad review of Dark Messiah a while back and I had kept the tip to add to a combined story and have now lost it… Sorry to whoever that was. I was not ignoring it 🙁

Anyway back to the point, Dark Messiah of Might and Magic has now been released locally and internationally to hugely varying reviews.

The current Metacritic score is 53 which is terrible, however Game Informer gave it a 85 which is well worth picking up then. The current user score on Metacritic is 7.3 which is also not to bad.

However on the bad side the reviews are very bad

1UP gave it 20/100, GameSpy 30/100 and Gamespot 35/100. I think Gamespy had the most blasting review of the game when they stated

The staggering lack of quality apparent in Dark Messiah of Might and Magic Elements has left us incredibly disappointed.

I have my copy now and will hopefully get to play it over the weekend and let you know my personal feelings on it. From my few seconds in the game it looks pretty and the basic movement and functionally seemed fine.

Let’s see how it gets on though.

LG there is no saving this game. It stinks. The reaviews are not mixed, they downright crap. GameInformer must be geting advertising money from Ubisoft.

This game should’ve been a budget title. Despite its issues, it’s not that bad (at least the PC version is ok) but you can pick the PC version up for only R80 now.
