Yesterday, the embargo for Deus Ex reviews lifted, allowing everyone to let loose their reviews on the internet, including us.

If you haven’t already read the magnificent review from our very own Geoffrey Tim, then I suggest you get your butt over here right now and give it a quick read. We liked it… a lot… so what did the rest of the gaming world think about it?

Hit the jump for a round-up of reviews from around the world.

So errr… I’m gonna go ahead and assume that we weren’t the only folks who really liked it, with the average score on Metacritic from all reviews raking in an 89/100 on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 as well as 88/100 on PC (at the time of writing) with the scores going no lower than 80/100. After our review as well as the round-up, I’m pre-ordering my copy today… no kidding.

P.S: I want sunglasses that come out of my face too.

Remember, you could win a copy of the coveted Augmented Edition of the game in our Deus Ex Human Revolution competition. Not convinced by the scores? Maybe the game’s launch trailer will sway you.
